Chicago Mayoral Candidate Conversation Series
What are the candidates for mayor of Chicago planning to do to address the city’s most pressing challenges?
This free virtual series features individual, one-hour conversations between mayoral candidates and veteran Chicago political reporter Mike Flannery. Each program provides an in-depth look at one candidate’s experience, priorities and vision for Chicago’s future.
The conversations explore major issues facing the city, including Chicago Public Schools, the city budget and pensions, property taxes, economic development, public safety and housing affordability.
Presented by Lincoln Forum in partnership with the Union League Club of Chicago’s State and Local Government Subcommittee and media partner POLITICO, the series gives Chicagoans an opportunity to hear directly from each candidate.
The first conversation takes place Wednesday, September 9, from noon to 1:00 p.m. CT, with additional conversations scheduled on consecutive Thursdays, excluding Thanksgiving. The series is free and open to the public; advance registration is required.
