(CHICAGO, IL; August 31, 2017): Illinois’ newest public affairs group, the Lincoln Forum, announces their first speakers featuring a Cook County official, a political media panel and a democratic gubernatorial candidate.

In partnership with the Chicago Athletic Association hotel (12 S. Michigan Ave.), the Lincoln forum will host its first of three events featuring Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart on September 21, 2017 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in the hotel’s historic Madison Ballroom.

The Lincoln Forum will provide a much needed platform for a diverse group interested in sound public policy and bipartisan solutions.  The Lincoln Forum will host monthly events, where some of the most influential, engaging minds in politics and policy will speak on the most important issues facing Illinois and the nation. The Lincoln Forum was founded by Former ILGOP Chairman Pat Brady, Prominent Democratic Strategist Eric Adelstein and Communications Strategist, Tracy Slutzkin.

The second event will be on October 10th, featuring a political media panel of NBC 5 News Political Reporter Mary Ann Ahern, Chicago Tribune Chief Political Reporter Rick Pearson and Fox 32 News Political Editor Mike Flannery discussing the current political climate in Illinois. WGN radio’s Steve Cochran will moderate the panel.

Long-time Chicago philanthropist and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Chris Kennedy will speak on November 16, 2017. The events will be in the evening with cocktails and appetizers served at the Chicago Athletic Association hotel in Chicago.
